Attention all members please review the draft of our constitution. Once reviewed you will have until our monthly meeting in December to  submit, IN WRITING, any suggestions or objections or amendments so that the new constitution can be voted on at the AGM in January 2017. Any and all such suggestions, objections or amendments can be duly considered by the Directors and Executive and actionned or NOT prior to the final version which will be presented for vote in January.

 

As discussed at the Dec 7th Exec and Directors Meeting, the following addition is made to the proposed new Constitution and By-Laws:

 

In Article 3 – Membership, add as sub-paragraph d.:

 

               d.           The Membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Renewal Dues for the following year are to be paid by 31 December of the current year or at the AGM in January following the expiration of a Membership year. A grace period of 60 days will be allowed for payment. If Dues are not paid before the end of the grace period, the Member will be suspended from access to the Club. The Member may be re-instated after said grace period, upon full payment of the annual Dues plus an additional Late Fee of $25.00. This latter Fee shall be determined and fixed in accordance with sub-paragraph c. above.

 

Membership be reminded that the new Constitution will be proposed for adoption at the AGM in January 2017.
